Recorded a Mono LP in Stereo. Ooops!

This afternoon, I recorded Greatest Hits of the Animals, which is a stereo LP. Then I recorded Best of the Animals Volume II, which is a mono LP but I had forgotten that until after I finished recording it so my AVR was not set to playback in mono. I am sure it sounds fine, but would it be better if I re-recorded it with the RZ50 set for mono? @TLS Guy would probably be a good guy to ask.

The answer to that is a may be. It really depends how good the cut of the record is and how symmetrical the groove walls are, as any errors will be magnified. I guess you won't know unless you listen to that mono record in mono and then stereo. If the channels coupled are better, then you need to record it again.

I'll take a careful listen tomorrow in both settings then. Thx!

Vol II is not a 1967 op. It is a 1986 re-issue on Polydor Records in case that matters.
