I wouldn't spend anywhere near that much, but I also wouldn't spend $250K for a pair of speakers either. But if one has it, they can do what they want with their money, tax refund or otherwise.

Then again, I'm still enjoying the TV that I bought back in 1994, so I don't think that people will be too jealous. Although, I did find out today that a guy at work is still using a 19" CRT that has the dial that turns to tune in the channels (and no remote). It's been a long time since I've felt like my TV technology was advanced.
