Receiver to go with Monitor Audio Bronze series

Hi all,

I am considering purchasing Monitor Audio's B4 and B2 speakers for my home system. I was wondering what you guys think are good receivers to pair with those speakers. I have heard that Denon receivers go very well with MA's speakers, but i'd like a little more input if possible. The price range i'm looking at is below 700. What do you guys think?

What are you using for a center, gtfool? I really like the MA Bronze line. Denon works very well with the Bronzes (I have some the older Bronze 3's sitting in my bedroom right now :) ). A 2105 or 2805 would be a great choice, depending on the price you can get. I've owned some and heard several other Denon/Monitor Audio setups and all were very nice.

I'd be pairing the B4's (as the L/R Front speaker) with the Bronze Centre, since matching the front & center is always a good idea. Hehe.

As for receiver wise, do you know how Denon's avr-1905 compares with thw 2105? I think those two are the main ones i'm considering right now. With them being relatively new, it's a bit hard for me to find more information on them. So i'd appreciate any info you may have. Thanks!

I've got a Denon 2802 which I've paired with a full metal Monitor Audio Silver series. It sounds awesome!

Marantz is a much better match for the metal tweeters of MA Bronze or any MA and sounds great!

Go for the SR5500.
