Guy in front of me buys three items:

Some brand of taco dinner in a box
4 roll pack of Angel Soft Two Ply
Can of "fresh linen" airwick spray

I laughed.

I wasnt going to say anything buddy but I am not a fan of JBL at all. I do not like using their speakers live in the studio or listening at home. The upper midrange and hi end are very brittle and hard for me to listen to. I am really glad you are feeling this way Matt. Back they go!........

I wasnt going to say anything buddy but I am not a fan of JBL at all. I do not like using their speakers live in the studio or listening at home. The upper midrange and hi end are very brittle and hard for me to listen to. I am really glad you are feeling this way Matt. Back they go!........

I demo'd them at the sellers place with some Pink Floyd DSOTM but when I started listening to some Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds on BR today at some spirited levels the tweeter and mids where horrible. I thought it was because I was in another room but when I at in the sweet spot they where just as bad. They really made me appreciate my beta 20s.

I'm going back up to Phoenix sometime this week and will hit a couple shops up there to find something I like. I know they have a shop that carries Usher, B&W and a few others. I'm not finding anything on Craigslist now, go figure. I may hit up BB and listen to some Def Techs and Klipsch also.

Ah some matrix 2, the guy I bought the JBL from had a pair and where in excellent shape but I didn't get a chance to listen to them, heavy SOB too!! I may have to try those out.

thanks adam!! I went to O charlie's with the family last night for my birthday, which was very cool I am feeling better after getting a sinus infection. damn, i hate getting sick around my birthday. I have not had a beer since saturday night Anyway looks like a few beers will be drank tonight
