I've heard saliva helps heal burns. Better coat the entire area. As an added benefit it won't be sticky either unless something goes horribly wrong..............or oh so right.

Speaking of what kids are doing these days. There was a field trip Friday (which I wasn't on, thankfully) to Salem MA for 11th and some 12th graders. Turns out 3 or 4 kids OD'ed on the trip, don't know from what, but there was an absolute sh!t storm when the buses got home and there's sure to be more to follow. Definitely going to be lawsuits against the school and teachers who were chaperoning. Probably will be the last field trip allowed this year and for the next few years as well. Aren't kids great?

Rumors and half truths are flying fast and furious over the interweb. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to get some better information. I think everyone is fine, because if they weren't that would have spread like wildfire in this small town.

No way. I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I know FB is a big no no As embarrassing as it is to admit I'm getting all the information from my Mom who is a teacher in the district (and a total FB addict), who's friends with other teachers and parents.

On an unrelated note, I just got solicited for a "secret giveaway" on another forum where the only way to enter is to post in a specific thread, with a minimum number of words, the post has to be neutral or positive (no criticism), and you can't tell anyone about the prize. Plus if you post one before a certain date and once after, you get entered twice for the prize. Pretty sketchy way to manufacture traffic and advertising dollars IMHO.
