Some of that is being scared of his power being unleashed on themselves; no backbone.

Looks to me like Vance is playing his cards right. You don't hear from him much so that means he's trying to distance himself from Trump.

Vance's ticket for a '28 run. I don't like what he said about Nixon or how Trump and he ganged up on Zelensky, but he is playing his cards well by distancing himself from the spotlight.

If it's accurate Rubio leads Vance. Though a Republican not looking to good at the moment. In terms of vibe I thought Buttigieg was the one for the Dems, but I'm not sure he's really interested in it.
