Varies per system for me but generally my xovers are in the 80-120 range but don't distinguish between music vs movie sources.

Think hard reset work! Do you think having my input level boosted to +6 bad on my Marantz? I do think it’s low volume when you’re streaming Bluetooth!

thank y’all so much

I wouldn't worry about 6+ as much as maxing it out....(it goes to 12, right?). Will you increase the volume on your phone to max when streaming for the +6 setting?

Yeah it goes to 12. This how I connect my phone to the AVR under Bluetooth then I stream tidal from that way.

Whatever still sounds good in the end counts. Why not just go for higher fidelity wifi when you stream instead of bluetooth?

Do you have a DVD player from another room you could hook up temporarily for troubleshooting purposes?
That way you can check behavior using the standardized movie SPL.

It sounds like a Bluetooth issue to me as I had the same problem a while back with one of my Bluetooth speakers. Try going in your phones bluetooth settings and forgetting the device you are streaming to, then rescan and add it again. Be careful as it may add a large boost in gain.

Do y’all use the channel adjust level option? Does it use the power from the master volume?

Bluetooth, while having got much better over the years, has limitations altho some of the latest versions are pretty good. Much streaming can be done outside of bluetooth, by using networks both local and otherwise....

It’s something with the Bluetooth because when I change the input to CD for my dragonfly! I have insane volume at -20
