Question on: Line - Level Signal

Did I miss it, or...

...did no one ask if the DVD player has its own volume control? Mine does. And if I adjust the DVD volume control, it adjusts the level of output coming through the analog L/R outs.

Sorry i missed the first of this thread. ASdam has given you some very good advice.

I looked up you manual online:

One thing else you might want to try. On the head-phone jack on the front of your 1600 you might want to try a 3.5mm mini-phone jack to a two RCA ( left-white right -red) adapter. Hi, forkbeard. You have a good idea, but it's not the case with his player. No one asked, but I (and probably some others) looked it up in the owner's manual for his player. There was no mention of a variable volume.
