my grandma gave me a dvd player and some speakers but she ran the cables through her wall so I was wondering if I could make these connectors myself, I see them on amazon and such but they are few and expencive (like 20$) on average. just because they have a special connector.

model is sony DAV-DZ100
any ideas?

No there is no other feasible option, other than a bodge, which will probably result in you ruining the unit. The only thing you could do is open the unit and install different speaker connections. There is not much room so that would be very difficult.

This set is only $13.99 and free shipping. So that is just is just $2.33 each. I don't know how much cheaper your bodge would be, likely more!
If there are only two sets left, then you had better grab one of them.

You could cut the ones off the wires run int the walls at your grandmothers. They are entirely proprietary to the unit you have now and should never have been run in the wall to begin with as I'm quite sure they aren't rated for in-wall use. But, the ends being cut off and spliced into different speaker wires is what I would look to do first.

I would buy and terminate my own connections as a secondary option.
