Ask the Best Buy store and see if they could ship the BP7002 to you for $50 fee = $200 total.
Then you would have a pr of BP7002 for $450 total ($250 + 200). They retail for $2,400, so that's 81% off retail. You can't beat that price.
If you sell them on Craigslist for $800 each, that would give you $1,600 + the CLR 2300 = total of close to $2,000?
Why not audition them in your home first?
See what you think of the pair of BP7002s for music, plus the CLR for movies.
Then in the mean time, audition other speakers and see if they sound any better than the BP7002s.
The law of diminishing returns is prevalent in this hobby as it is in any other.
The retail of $2,400 (BP7002) vs that of other speakers retailing for $3,000 or $4,000?
You may find in your auditions, as I did, that even some speakers costing $23,000/pr may not sound any better.
