The multiple crossover is a cool feature at their street price point. The only thing I really see it being useful for though is being able to set the surround channels to setting higher than 80hz. Like if you only had enough money for an HK refurb it stands to reason that maybe you couldn't afford surrounds that do 80hz effectively. I'm good with leaving the front three channels all the same at 80hz.
Their refurbs from the Harman Audio eBay store can be had for auction prices! Never mind the Buy It Now business. To me that means that they have had two chances to get it right. You end up with the original warranty and if there is something wrong with it they email you a prepaid shipping label to return it.
Don't get me wrong, I would rather have more disposable income and be able to buy gear with the most recent bells and whistles. Buying HK through this avenue is like stretching a buck to the point of transparency. I'm really diggin' their failure rate.
