Well, guys & gals, I finally did the Unthinkable. I am no longer a Separates-Analog-Only person. I just pulled the trigger on a Denon AVR-5308CI from Jacques @ J&R for $4K.

I had a $1K Gift Card, so that helps.:D

I will be selling my 3 PMA-2000IVRs.

Thanks, guys.

By the way, who's Craig?:D

Yeah, I sold the DVD05910CI and one of the PMA-2000IVRs. I have 2 more of the PMAs to sell. Then my next plan is to wait for Denon to come out with a new model SACD/DVD-A replacement for the 3930CI, which should look like the newer Denons. Aesthetics is so important, you know?:D

Wow I know you have been talking about this for a while. I just cannot believe that you really did it. I cannot believe you will not be happy with that receiver. You will be able to be a BlueJeans outlet until you sell off all your analog cables.:D

He's been talking about it but saying "in a year".

Why is everyone calling him Craig?

He is one sick dude.

Congrats man!

Nice unit!!!

That's not something I say to guys, but in the case of this AVR, "not that there's anything wrong with that".:D

BTW, welcome to the 21st century.:p

Oh, yeah, I need to sell all those colorful DIGITAL Coaxial cables from BJC, don't I?:D

Yeah, they are actually "digital coaxial", but I used them as analog.

Yeah, I'm like a Dawg, so time to me is like dog-time. "A Year" to me is like one month.

And who's Craig?

Thanks guys.

Yeah, now I'll be spending the next year trying to figure it out. And by the time I have everything figured out, Denon will have come out with another flagship receiver.

I probably won't even be able to watch a blu-ray until a week later.

The best advice I can give you is: once it arrives, carefully open the box, the user manual will be on top in a sealed plastic bag, slowly remove it from the box and very carefully open the plastic bag. Once you slide the manual out, hold it by the left top corner. Slowly walk outside and remove the lid from the garabage can. Then...throw it in.
Thanks guys.

I bet you drive your wife crazy!
Well, I sold the 5910CI for $1325. By the time I sell all 3 PMA-2000s, I'll have another $1600+. So that's about $3K. Plus the $1K gift card. So I basically sold my old stuff to get this new stuff.

My wife laughs at me because she thinks it's silly.:D
