Good review. After hearing the Platinum M2's last year I have been amazed at the bang for the buck PSB speakers offer. It's great too that they don't require fancy electronics to power them and that even a $500 NAD integrated could power them to very loud levels. But then again there is just something about NAD and PSB gear that fits so well together.

If I had the coin, I would definately order me a top of the line NAD 7.1 receiver. I've heard my T45s powered thru them and it was breath taking realism that I heard.

I haven't heard the Syncrony 2B's, but I have to say, after hearing the Ribbon on the MA Plat. M2's, I would have a hard time believing the PSB's could sound as nice, the M2's have some serious shoes to fill...

Please don't flame me here, I'm just speculating.. I would love to get some time with the 2B's or any of the Syncrony line as they have been talked up quite well..

The cheapest speaker in the MA Plat line is over $5000 though.

I think Gus was referring to the PSB Platinum M2's and not the MA's. :)
