I came home yesterday to a bunch of flashing lights. From there i could tell the electrity had went off or flashed. Well didnt notice until that evening as i tried watching a new movie on my home theatre system, thast my Pioneer wouldnt turn on. The lil blue led on the on/off just flashs at me. I tried loacting a fuse or a reset switch with no luck.

can anyone point me the direction of how to fix this???? (please) I tried a local shop but they wanted to charge a minimum of $46 just to look at it.

so if anyone could please help id be very appreciative!!!!

I just got thsi reciver and a projector, with some sweet speakers ina trade for my lowered suburban. its a great setup, but now it useless unless i can get my pioneer going, thasnk for your time and patience.

Joshua,

Welcome to the forum.

If you haven't tried it already, try unplugging it for about a minute and then plugging it back in. I'm assuming that you've done that, so I did a quick google search for flashing lights on a Pioneer receiver. I came across this, but it might be different:

Reading through it, the following solution was given:

----------------
According to the Service Technician that reset my receiver the reset procedure for a blinking MCACC light is as follows:

ENTER + VIDEO2 keys for 2 seconds.
----------------

Might want to try that out. I'd like to know if it works for you. Good luck.
