Keep in mind that this isn't a home theatre system in a home environment you've got here.

You've got a semi-professional sound reinforement system meant to cover a large area with the maximum amount of sound.

A subwoofer designed for home use won't cut it here. You might want to explore the term "bass bin" and figure on an electronic crossover and serious watts.
Yeah, good point. It just seemed that he may be using it at home.

well i have it setup in a very large room. and im going to be taking it to some small venues

Youve got a professional set up as to say you will not need a subwoofer unless your addicted to bass as a few are I've never ran a sub with my dj equipment as its built to get high power sound accross the club/party you could allways purchas yourself a stage subwoofer witch is kinda the same as a non active sub
