Problem with left edge - infocus screenplay 4805

Hi guys

I'm a bit of a newbie in projector field so I'm not quite sure how to look upon my problem.

I've got a infocus screenplay 4805 few days ago and it is 'wow'. Nice picture, great colours, excellent motion. However, i have a line of light on the left edge of the screen running from the top to bottom. It's hardly visable in sceens with some light but it's a bit annoying in the dark sceens.

Doubt it has anything to do with the source. I use Primare dvd 25 through Denon AVR 3805 using component.

Did anyone experience simular problem and have some solution? Thnx up front.

I have the same project or and had a similar issue. In the menu options there is a vertical postion control where it actually shifts the image in the viewable area and by moving it slightly to the left you should be able to cover that line and not make one on the right. Worked for me.

Sounds possibly like a keystoning problem. Try the above test, and hopefully it will work out for you. Please post back.

hey

Sorry for late reply, I was on a trip.

Anyways, the problem is still there and it's not keystone. Since I use Component connection the vertical adustment is not in the menu. The vertical adustment is only allowed when the projector is connected via DVI.

I'm not sure if changing this setting while using DVI would actually change setting for the other connectors. Any experience with this?
