Your head impact combined with your symptoms make even this layman think you have a good probability of a concussion:

You shouldn't have been driving home. I'd see an MD and get checked out ASAP. The urgent care was probably focusing on your arm because you didn't complain about anything else. You turned smart last night. Don't go back to being dumb. Seriously.
Don't screw around with this- I nicked my index finger with my new tongue & groove router bit and they insisted on taking an X-Ray of it, to make sure it didn't hit the bone because they said it would then be considered an 'open fracture'. That makes it prone to bone infection and that can be deadly. My comment that if it had nicked the bone, we would have seen bone was ignored.

Also, nausea after a head impact usually means concussion, from what I have heard. When I kit a rafter with my head, the Doctor asked if I had lost consciousness and I answered with "You're asking someone with a fresh head wound?". He responded with "Touché".
Okay, here's the thing with that. I have experienced the exact same thing a few times now when I got hurt.

The sore jaw, isn't too bad. I didn't hit my face that hard, my cheek and jaw have very small scuffs, almost not even noticeable. The arm is definitely the most hurt right now. There was no loss of consciousness, just that sick light headed feeling you get with a painful injury right when it happened, so I really don't think I have a concussion. Headache is gone and was pretty mild at that. No nausea.

I remember one time I hit my knee on a cement pole and the same thing happened, almost blacked out from the pain. Happened another time when I took a nasty shot to the jimmies once too... I was practicing casting a round fishing net with lead weights attached all the way around the edge and swung it wrong. Those weights whipped around and nailed my boys dead on. I got light headed and had to lay down, almost blacked out. That one really sucked, lol. Also happened when I broke my foot pretty badly too. That sick, light headedness and almost blacked out then too.

Yesterday was exactly the same. I was fully cognitive and never actually hit my head or lost consciousness. Just that sick, light headed feeling I'd experienced before with painful injuries.

God, I'm a wuss... lol.

My last fo'ty (and first, for that matter) was my freshman year in college. (First and last were not the same.) And though my first experience with that other item was also in the same year, I didn't really, um, explore that further for a little bit longer. Maybe my junior year? *shrugs
But rollin an El-P definitely brings back some memories. And yes, I can remember those nights, too! :D

And I'd feel like a junky begging for a fix if I pushed for something stronger. I never find Drs willing to prescribe for pain it seems. So unless they ask I don't usually bring it up.
Go to the nearest dispensary and grab some heavy indica ...

I wouldn't call you a wuss, cursed maybe, but not a wuss.:D I'm still waiting for the real story. Admit it, you got cocky and tried to lift that fat sub over your head. How is the sub, by the way? Boy, it's a good thing you were there to break it's fall.:D

LOLO, your good bro! We just jacking around with you some ;) sh&t bro I cried like a baby when I did my rehab on my knee replacement and that was for close umm 6 months 3 times a week! And that was with pills everyday every 4 hours. Yeah I turned into a pill junkie them pills ain't all that, they are right about them pain pills the more you take the more You want. Took me a year to be completely unhooked from them. I was 52 years old when I tore the meniscus the first time and 5 months latter tore it again than so for 3 plus years with the two arthroscopic surgeries and then the total knee replacement I was on those dam pain pills. Anyone who says they like pain pills needs rehab. So yeah even at 52 we like to think us old dudes can take anything so yeah your not a spring chicken anymore All those years working you been hard at his taken a toll on your body Plus it's a known fact as we get older we lose cartilage between our joints and we don't heal as fast as when we where younger.

Yeah, already thought about that. I never get hurt doing something manly... lol.

Well, 'cept for the time I rolled my quad down a hill and it ended up on top of me, upside down. I broke 2 ribs and likely was concussed. I was full on knocked unconscious that time. Had my helmet on tho!

And you know what? This is why I hate urgent care. I had 2 broken ribs, one was fully separated and I could feel the ends rub together when I moved wrong. Plus the concussion. They acted like was none of it was big deal. No concern that I'd been knocked unconscious or follow up questions. Didn't even give me time off work, and I was a butcher! It's heavy work! I ended up burning vacation time, took 1 week off and went back to work with broken ribs. No pain meds either for probably the most painful injury I've ever had. The Dr (yes, it was an actual Dr) had a shitty attitude and acted like I was an asshole for even asking about time off work...

F*ck those guys. I never went back to that location ever again.

I once had my doctor tell me that the couch might be a safe place for me. This might apply to you as well Pogre...

Is this your way of saying he should stock up with...
An Elbow! HA!

(Please nobody make me explain what an eLBow is, or why its fcuking hilarious in this scenario.) :p
Not massive amount .. An eighth(3.5 grams.. Maybe $50, maybe a bit less ) of some good heavy indica will kill the pain & let you ( him) rest up.. Not to mention the side perks.. I'm not kidding , it's a great option...

Ha... you're sick. They don't want you hanging around more than you want to be there hanging around! ;)

Regardless of outcome, feel better! :)
Thanks, they said 2 days but with the holiday I'm not sure about that.
