Have you considered that Trump isn't some kind of anomaly but rather the natural trajectory of the Republican party? What about all of the Republicans who condone or endorse his behavior, which is like 90% of them? Trump's belligerence, stupidity, and selfishness is their belligerence, stupidity, and selfishness. Anyone who was awake during the Obama years saw this coming a mile away. Look at the 2016 Republican primary debates which were a contest to see who could be the most extreme fascist. The problem isn't Trump, it is the Republican party and its supporters. How, after all that Trump has done before this, is a vote for him now an immoral act? His behavior in this matter is consistent and unsurprising, not only when squared his personal history but also when looked at through the ethos of the modern Republican party.

I just assumed that Dr. Conley was a Medical Doctor, but he turns out to be a doctor of osteopathic medicine, from an article in NY Times. A quick googling on osteopathic medicine did not give me the confidence to be treated by one of those doctors without know more about it.

Yeah well I stick with people that believe in science, we would be far ahead of where we are with covid-19. What, about 10 prominent republicans just in the last 2 days have come down with covid-19? The president himself has it or at least we are told has it. He knew he has it and still went to a donor event to spread it more. That is not taking things serious nor is it listening to science.
