Wait wait wait, now I am confused. Do my eyes deceive me, or is there a different woofer in the sub than there was in the first picture? What kind of subwoofer is that anyway? (the one in the center). I thought it was a Martin Logan now I am confused.:D

I do recognize the Amazing Loudspeaker when I see it, I imagine they sound fan-flippin-tastic.:D

Hey Seth,
Yes your correct. The first driver was a 4 ohm 10" Dayton Titanic MK-III and now I have a 12" 8 ohm Klipsch Driver that works much better with the Velodyne VLF-1012 Amplifier. Glad you recognize the AL-III's. I love the way they sound Bi-amped through the Rane AC-22 active cross over. I have 1000 watts at their disposal.

PS,
I built the Sub Woofer myself.

Right now my television is a Sony KDS60a3000. My reciever is a Harman Kardon AVR635. My front speakers are the new Energy RC-70's. The difference between these and the previous models is that the aluminum tweeter is liquid cooled. They aren't supposed to be out yet but, the company I deal with got a few sets in to demo and he sold em to me. My 4 surround speakers are the Energy C-R100's. Right now I'm using an old JBL sub but, I'm about to get 2 ESW-V10's. My center channel is the V2.0Ci. It is a beast, I've never owned a center channel that weighed 40lbs.
I'm using my PS3 as a DVD and Blu-Ray player right now and it works great. I'll get pics up later.

Adam,

That screen is only 92" diagonally. I like the size from my viewing distance although I wish I had a 110".

Thanks for the dimensions. I think it looks good, but I agree that a slightly larger one would also look quite nice.

For reference, I was comparing it to my 27" TV. :) I plan to move up to a 46-52" screen later this year, but my room doesn't warrant anything larger.

Here's my modest and still incomplete home theatre. Nothing like what you guys have, but I'm new at this so consider this as my "first attempt".

Very, very nice!

However if i may make a sugestion for better PQ, i would paint the white peice of the ceiling in the middle of the screen. The white surface reflects light back at the screen causing it to wash out the pic, also the flickering shadows will become distracting after a while. Any color is better than white, when i got my first pj the whole room was white. It look great but after a while i started to see the issues others brought up that white walls bring, after i painted the room the PQ went to another level. Again nice job on your room.

Thanks for the suggestion Tee-HTF.

As it is, it is still a work in process so any great suggestion I can incorporate is greatly appreciated.

I concur! Nice gear, and I like the leather couch.

BTW, do the lamp shades behind the couch still have the protective plastic wrap on them? :)
Yeah, I have had them since 05 in Tampa and now in Korea... i guess i am just lazy about taking them off... plus i guess it keeps the dust off the fabric lol :p

That's a lot of nice equipment! Do the neighbors say anything, or are you in a house?

Stripes, nice set-up. I especially like your choice of TV images for the pictures! How do you like your speakers? Also, what sub are you using? Thanks!
