I have been considering the R700 having never listened to them yet (would also get the L400)- also the paradigm 800F with 500C or 600C which I will audition tomorrow locally in southeast Iowa. And I am really intrigued by the Arendal 1723 Towers - which is much more expensive at 3700 a pair. I recall James discussed the Polk L600 when discussing other speakers that compete with the Arendal Monitor 1723. With the great reviews by Andrew Robinson and James for the R700 - I wonder how much better the Arendal 1723 full towers (not the s) would be .I heard that if I buy the R700 directly from polk (when they are back in stock) I believe I can get 60 days trial - as I can with the Arendals - also with Arendals may not need to upgrade my sub either.
