My response is NOT directed at you, but here is what I think.

You can’t rub 5 pounds of feces in my face and hand me a tissue to clean it up. The stench endures.

The general populace has an enduring impression that this Woman is an advocate for child pornographers.

The sad part is, the Republicans know better.
But it did not matter, never has never will.

She had to sit there and take this abuse, be painted as a supporter of child pornographers in front of her parents and her child.

She had to sit there and take a lashing from massa, in front of the whole world and hold it together, lest she be portrayed as an emotional woman, or an angry Black woman. They made it clear that she couldn’t even speak unless they allowed it.

Juxtapose this with the Cavanaugh hearing. This man was accused of Rape and Sexual Assualt, yet he entered the proceedings angry, obstinate, defiant, ( in other words he walked in and comported himself as a white man)

What happened to this Woman is far beyond the pale of politics, serves as a warning for people of color, and further erodes my belief in the humanity of white people in general, and America as a whole.

I don't think they were targeting race but to try and give the impression she's weak on crime. Then go on Faux and report their nonsense. It was (R) Ben Sasse who had the decency to let her speak. Now Tucker Carlson, well yeah he'd bring in race. I dunno about that party. It's the party of fear & hate. A lot of it has to do with who is on the tv screen. Not that the Dems are that much better, but the Republicans don't articulate *ideas*. Also nearly all of the conspiracies are coming from the right IMO. It's almost as if it's the only way they feel they can win elections. Rather sad IMO.

In a country of 334 million people, you can't find any white people who are decent human beings? You're not looking hard enough. You're judging all of us by the actions and words of a relatively small number. That number is far too high as it isn't zero, but it's still wrong to do that.

Sadly, Biden made it about race and sex when he announced he was basing his choice on it. Same with his VP choice. If she was his best candidate, he should have just picked her without 'virtue' signaling.

It will be back to basic national priorities if the "free world" countries are going to be successful. National cohesion, a strong economy, command of resources, strong military, and a properly educated and trained population will determine who prevails.

Is the West ready for that or will we focus on our smart phones and the proper use of pronouns?

I imagine Biden set a record voter attendance because of Trump. It's kind of like spitting at the camera for four years but not recognizing that played a huge role in losing the election. It's as if you people are refusing to accept that your public conduct in particular plays a role in elections. It isn't as if Trump has the squeaky clean behavior of Romney.

• One can only assume that just as the region has become relatively more peaceful and stable, the Biden administration would like to destabilize it. After surrendering to the Taliban in Afghanistan and failing to deter Putin from invading Ukraine, has the Biden administration not created enough destabilization? Why would a US president want a legacy of three major destabilizations unless someone was interested in bringing down the West?
• The US proposals -- negotiated for the Americans by Russia of all unimpeachable, trustworthy, above-board advocates -- have been described as: "This Isn't Obama's Iran Deal. It's Much, Much Worse." That sounds about right.
