There’s obviously something more to the story than what we can see in the video - I’m curious to know the reasons why the police pulled over the ambulance, and why they tried to arrest the one man inside.

It doesn't seem like we are getting the whole story. Hard to tell what the issues are. Why were they pulled over? Why are the arresting Michael Clarke Duncan? Why were they in the ambulance? What's the injury?
Need more info please.

If I was a cop telling somebody that they were under arrest they would be being cuffed up or getting shot, their choice. Sorry, but there are no substitutions with that order. The only thing that is certain is that the guy with the camera should have been the first victim of police brutality. I'm not sure what happened there but getting control of the scene is a must and that guy running around was creating a scene. Nothing a nice thwack to the back of the head wouldn't fix.

True, we need to know more info on why the cop pulled over the ambulance in the first place. I don't understand why they would, unless the ambulance driver was being so reckless that he was endangering other people's lives.

But bottom line is, I hate cops. I've never liked or trusted them and I never will.

Unfortunately it's a 'Chicken or the Egg' situation.
Bad human behavior necessitated the need for cops.

I'm kind of with you on that. However there is something to be said for knowing how not to get your head kicked in. Race plays a part too. I'm not pointing fingers at you. I'm just saying that my position as a white guy is one of fear and loathing. If I was black?, forget about it.

If you read the youtube comments there is a doctor that responded and said he has had issues with that medic.

I know there were other circumstances that led to this but point is : THere was a dying patient on board No excuse for that they should have followed the ambulance to the hospital and THEN made their inquiry. All in all the situation is just another case of police doing a really crappy job and using bad judgment ................................again..

There are times that peaceful resistance is warranted. Cops aren't always right, they are simply always Cops.

Control of the scene should have been handled at the hospital after the patient was in custodial care of a physician. That bad is entirely on LEO.

Time will tell, but to me it seems gross lack of professional respect on the part of LEO. That 'guy' was freaking out because his mother is in the back of the ambulance. Totally understandable.

Probably because out of the hand full of interactions that I have had with police (only ever 1 ticket in 20 years). They have, with one exception, been major league *****.

Let me retract my statement. I don't hate cops. Hate is too strong a word. I dislike and distrust cops. I base my opinion on police officers on the way I have been treated by cops in the past. I have been harrassed by LEO's in the past for doing nothing wrong, in my opinion. Apparently the officer felt he had a reason to pull me over that I didn't know about. But what do I know, I'm not a cop.

But I do know that when dealing with cops, it's best to just keep your mouth shut. The cop is the one with the badge and the gun, and right or wrong, he generally has the law on his side. Keep your mouth shut, go to court and fight the cop there. At least then you have some chance of winning. If a cop is looking at you, it's probably not because he wants to help you with something. He's probably thinking if there's anything he can write you a ticket for. So I try to avoid the police at all costs.

I don't think that all police are bad. I just choose to err on the side of caution. I assume that any cop I come across MIGHT be bad, and is best avoided.

And these few instances of police brutality that make the news are just the ones that get videotaped, which I'm sure is a small percentage of the crap that goes on, on a daily basis.
