Check out the passive radiator in these puppies.
They are very thin speakers for their size.

I've never seen those but as you can see from the comments on the Youtube video they get some love and curiosity. When I was working at Best Buy back in the 1990s it was all about Bose and Cerwin Vega. I've had a lot of vintage speakers, loved my Pioneer CS-99A, Celestion Ditton 33, and Magneplanar but the latter always had to be rebuilt at some point which I wasn't down for.
Nostalgia is a tough one, there is no doubt much much better as accessible for much less money but quality sound was soooo hard to access back then. I had a nice set of tube amps from an old theater that shut down. I also got their subwoofers, It was a HUGE box, as big as a washing machine. One tiny little 8" in the back and these long ports/baffles out the top and bottom in the front. I'd never seen anything like them before or after. I don't know how I got them upstairs in the place I was living but I couldn't figure out how to get them out and left them behind when I moved.
