please help changing an HSU sub amp.

Can somebody explain or direct me to a link how to change the amp on my STF3?

It's coming in the mail now as there is a short in mine and I would like to know what I am doing before it arrives.

BTW, Rocelco in Canada really looks after Hsu owners. I was a little nervous about internet sales and situations like this, if something went wrong, but they were great.

If it's anything like my STF-1, it's just the screws on the back of the plate amp. It should come right out. You should only have to disconnect the speaker wire that leads to the driver.

ok...i got the screws taken out, the plate is tight, flush with the box, no way to get it out from what I can see.
