Thanks for the feedback.

Hello again Bob, I hope all is well,

Thanks again for your assistance and advice, the Denon avr789 is the best Receiver I've tested, and at the price I purchased it at, it's a no brainer I'm keeping the Denon & returning the Pioneer vsx919, I spent a decent amount of time tweaking it and so on, it's not as complicated as reviews make it sound, definitely a great buy! thanks again for all your help!!

take care

Justin
Hi Justin,

Thank you very much to let us know about this, it is our reward to hear good news like that, as it further encourages us to pursue our objective. :)

Yeah, the Denon AVR-789 was the no-brainer in this particular case.
And you are absolutely right about the simplicity (when you put your heart into it) of the Denon's setup. Some people indeed make you believe the opposite; they are usually the type that cannot operate a microwave oven. :D

Cheers & you take good care too,

Bob

Lowpro, have you tried the analog to digital upconversion on your Denon and on the Yamaha?
