I have a set of these towers and the matching center. I used to run them with a Pioneer VSX-1022 receiver but upgraded to an Onkyo TR-N676. the setup sounds decent but wanted to add some brightness to the higher levels to hear those crisp sparkly details in movies. would replacing the tweeters make a significant difference if I replace in all three speakers? was thinking of using some Goldwood GT-520's from Parts Express unless someone can recommend a better option. thanks for your input.

Do not replace the tweeters unless you really know what you are doing (few people do). The 676 has tone controls on the front plate. They can boost treble centered at 7.5kHz by 10 dB. If you want a brighter speaker, use the 676's tone controls to boost treble. That should do the trick.

In addition to the above it also has a 9 band EQ. Not sure how high it goes but you could also use that to boost the treble.
