Well it would be cheaper then the Denon (5910 or 3910) route so I may just wait.:D

Dude 26.99 you got ripped, its selling for 19.99 at retail stores.
I was in bestbuy as they were closing and some friends let me look at it. Looks promising but it is in 4x3 and no dts. Said 5.1 surround but didnt say on all tracks or even dolby digital. Cover looks cool tho

oooo ok my bad didnt even think it could be a different currency, that seems about right with the exchange rate, i might go buy this in a few i dont know but tell us how it is. Im just worried about not saying DD or DTS anywhere and the 4:3 is going to look like poop on a stick on a widescreen

Usually if it doesn't specify DD or DTS, it is DD only and/or stereo. People have said it is DD 5.1

I am a HUGE Floyd fan but I'm not sure if I'll buy this yet.

It was sad to hear about Syd Barrett today. The old songs like "See Emily Play" are favorites of mine.

EDIT: not thrilled this is only 4:3 format. Might pass.

...and with HDMI1.3 they'll be even better than DVD-A supporting 96/24 lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD in 7.1 instead of just 5.1
(At least I've never seen any DVD-A titles with more than 5.1 on them)
Although like you said, when they choose to use it is another matter.
At least Sony have announced that the PS3 will not only support SACD but the 60GB version will also support HDMI1.3 while the 20GB consolse will only support component hook-ups.
We'll probably be waiting until summer 2007 before the first Dolby TreuHD and DTS-HD decoding receivers come into play though.

Just picked it up at Costco, $15. Four hours of concert footage, 4:3 video, DD 5.1. Great package.:D

I'm not a huge fan of Pink Floyd but I went over to my friend's house to pick something up today when he invited me to sit down and listen to his new DVD, i think it was chapter 8 where you could here the helicopter from "Brick in the wall", it sounded eerily close!

From little of what I'd seen it it was fun to watch and listen.

I'm watching it now

IT ROCKS. Its strange thought it has two dolby digital 5.1 tracks one at 440 kbs per sec and one at 640 per sec. the 640 per sec won't play on my Pioneer Elite DVD players. I am not sure what sort of track this is. Neverthess, OOOOH THIS DVD IS AWESOME the only thing I wish is that it was filmed in widescreen, but it was shot in 4 3 so.

Received it today and sure enough I viewed it as well. The music quality was excellent and the video footage was awesome as well. It felt like I was there 12yrs ago I never did see them live:(

PS: I wish I had a good sub it felt like there was some bass in the audio that my sub couldn't reach!!:)

Sound is great, but the picture stinks. Lot of artifacts, jaggies and such. Sure wish they could have made this 16:9 somehow.

As stupid as it may sound, the 4:3 picture ratio is the thing that's holding me back from picking this one up.
