I have a CC370 and it sounds great to me, I have in all honesty not done a lot of side by side comparisions with other speakers however.

370 is good (I used to own it too), but it is not at the same level as the 470 for sure.

If you don't mind used, see if you can find a cc-370 v2.
The v2 extended lower than the later models.

I have four mini monitors in my setup ($310.00 pair if you shop), and I am happy with the results.

The CC-370 is timbre matched to the Monitor 11s. If you've just got 11s then the 370 would be the better sonic choice, but your own ears may be different than mine. I find the 370 in between the 11s is seamless when listening to both movies and multi-channel audio.

I went with 7's for surrounds, possible a little over kill but they sound great with movies and multi channel music (although the 11's by them selves sound awesome). I found the monitor surrounds, ADP-370's, with stands came to about the same as the 7's.

see i dont think i want 4 floor standing speakers. I may just go with the adp's and have someone help me set them up. I may also go with the pioneer 74xvi instead of the denon 3806 i just dont know. But once my new tv (62hm195) gets here ill figure it out...i dont know what to do, so much to spend...and then at christmas im going to buy either a definitive tech sub or a pw2200, who knows...then ill be all done

If you're like most of us...until you get the upgrade itch...even if that's a few years down the road. Either way...happy hunting!

Regarding receivers keep in mind that next year the newer DD-TrueHD and DTS-HD decoding receivers will be released. That will promote another upgrade itch no doubt.
Something to think about - like maybe picking up the VSX-816 for $300 instead of an Elite model until you see what the newer receivers are going to be like?
I have the VSX-1014 and it does justice to the Paradigm monitor line.
Just a thought.

Thats not a bad idea. The reciever will be the last thing i buy so i can wait awhile. I never know what to do, i go back and forth. I just want my baby up and running. And im thinkin about trying the adp-370's and if they dont work just goin to mini monitors

Yeah I'm really in two minds over the adps. I want to add them to my system to get great surrounding movies, but I do listen to a lot of SACD and DVD-A multi-channel music and I'd hate to be let down in that department. It seems like the majority of the reviews always appear a little let down when it comes to surround heavy multi-channel music when not using direct radiating speakers.
I don't know whether to just get 7s for the main surrounds and then add two adps to the rear surrounds later or get adps for the main surrounds and add 2 mini monitors for the rear surrounds.
I really hope my local dealer may let me take home some 24 hour demo units. That's the only way I think I'll feel really comfortable about my decision.
I'm pretty set on the Servo 15 to complement my M11s and CC370, but the surrounds definitely need a little more research.

I have always used books shelf speakers for my surrounds because I listen to a lot of 5.1 DVD concerts. I have never felt they lacked in anyway during movies. Well actually at the moment I am using small BA towers for surrounds and again they sound great for music and movies to my ears.

I always use bookshelf for surrounds too, because I also listen to a lot of m/c SACD and DVD-A as well as DVD concerts.

Have you guys also tried dipoles before making your decision to go with the books/floors and decided that the directs would be better or was it just based on popular preference?
Picking up surrounds aren't cheap when you're pretty tapped like I am at the moment so I don't want to make a bad decision. You think I'd be much happier with Monitor 7s as surrounds than the adps?

Only your own ears can answer that, all we can offer are opinions

sorry....

snarl, are you using your set up for mostly movies? The problem is with me for floorstandings as rears, is that they will be behind a couch i think so i think i need to elevate speakers to get them over the couch.
