Pair of rear speakers $250?

I'm looking to add a pair of speakers in the back of my 12'x12' room. Would I go with bookshelf speakers or I was thinking satellite speakers cause of the smaller design.

Any suggestions?

Newegg has StudioMonitor 450(s) on sale for $279. Definitive Technology StudioMonitor 450 Pair Home Audio Speaker - Newegg.com That's a pretty good deal. These sound very nice, cast basket drivers, 10" passive radiator, 6.5" Mid-Woofer, and an aluminum dome. I doubt you can do better for the price. I use these as front presence speakers, and they're very nice. They're normally $600...but that's $30 over your budget.

Pioneer BS22-LR are around $100/pr and are very good speakers. Fairly small also.
