Outdoor sub and AV receiver

Audioholic General
I've had a pair of "Rock" speakers for ages. I bought them as a lark during my "have tunes everywhere for everyone" phase. I had them connected via a wireless system so that a receiver inside the house controlling what tunes / sources where playing. I only used them for maybe two or three "gatherings", and brought everything back into storage so the elements never got to them. They've now been in the basement "storage" (nee junk) area for years. (I have problem tossing out perfectly good audio gear - even if it's not stellar.)

Like @Eppie suggests, I use a Bluetooth speaker for those rare events where my Bluetooth headphones or Buds don't suffice. I realized I didn't like to force my audio onto unsuspecting neighbors here ion the Burbs, so I limit the "noise" when I can.

Food for thought?
