I feel your pain. I was at my friend's house one night and way too drunk to drive. My friend lives out in the woods and has this very long narrow and winding drive way. My GF, at the time was sober and was going to drive us home. Since you can't really see out of the back of a 350Z, I told her I would back it out of the driveway. I first side swipped a tree on the left. I pulled up and laughed. I then side swipped a tree on the right, laughed a little more. I then made it to the end of the driveway and went off a ditch just like you did. We got out and went back in and continued drinking and stayed the night.
The next day, I walked out to my car thinking I had just lightly scratched the bumbers and hoping the ditch didn't do any damage but it turned out that I had dents and scratches that started at the bumper and went all the way to the doors on both sides. 8k to fix the damage. The ditch didn't cause any damage.
