GomGom,

Yeah, but to make sure, I will also look where it is made; Japan, China, North Korea, Philippines, South Asia, North Carolina, Singapour, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Marrakech, Indonesia, Canada or USA. :)

You never know, could have been made in a basement from Bunguran Utara, Kepulauan. ;)

If I was you, I will not buy anything made in Sartatovskoye Vodokhranilishche.
But that's just me. ;)

What's wrong with that place? Are they unreliable on the production lines there? Hard to read the manuals? I better check my boombox, maybe that's my problems;):D

Hi guys, I went to a store in Canada and they mentioned that Onkyo made for USA and for Canada are different. They claim that Onkyo made for USA market has smaller power supply and heat sink which will give worse heat problem than the one made for Canada. Is it true? Or is it just their sales technique so I give my business to them?
They also mentioned about CSA (canadian standard) and ASA (American standard), 110V (USA) and 120 (Canada) which affect if I buy the receiver from the states.

I'm shopping for a receiver Onkyo TX-SR607 and found that 6ave.com has a sale which gives me a lot of saving than if I'm buying locally. Anyone could help me to justify that?
We have different certifications a product has to pass than the US.

But no, the receiver is going to be exactly the same.
