Eric Clapton (call me the breeze)

While this was a great re-working of "Call Me The Breeze", I found the rest of the album quite a bit of a let down and uninspiring, even with all the great guest musicians. I do highly recommend though JJ's & Clapton's 2006 collaborative effort The Road To Escondido (******). Here's one of the tunes ...

Kitaro's Silk Road (1).

Originally composed as a score/soundtrack to an epic documentary called "The Silk Road: The Rise And Fall Of Civilizations". Very thematic, the melody flows naturally from track to track. Never surprising, almost as anyone would expect it to flow. Simple, unassuming. Simply perfect. This is music that, when listened with eyes closed, can make me travel inside my own mind and soul. When the record is over, it almost hurts.

Music should be fun. Every once in a while it is. Can't explain it, like Gangnam Style, but I really enjoy this track.
