Steve Earle - Townes. A cd full of Townes Van Zandt tunes. Kindred spirits, Earle and Townes both struggled with epic levels of addiction and huge talents, but Earle survived.

Just purchased the FLAC version of Phish's Halloween show from this year. They do a full cover set of The Rolling Stones Exile on Mainstreet. Nice.:D

Son Volt's "Okemah and the Melody of Riot". Fine indie rock by Jay Farrar, formerly of Uncle Tupelo.

I may buy the whole 3 days. How does it sound????
I've only listened to it at work, my home system is torn apart but I think it sounds good. They spread the singing around between them so some tunes are better than others.

Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies. FM has an energy level similar to the immortal Pogues in the days of If I Should Fall From Grace With God. They're definitely derivative, but considering how the Pogues (or at least Shane McGowan) did indeed fall from grace, Flogging Molly is a good replacement for St Patrick's day or any time when you're in the mood for energized punky Irish music that makes you feel good after a few stouts. This is my favorite Flogging Molly CD.
