I'm actually quite surprised that I had never heard of that band before.

You mean your band, Gun, right? That song and his voice are familiar to me but that could just be the previous millennium haunting me like a bad acid trip.

Don't let the kangaroo get away! :D

Speed Caravan! Discovered it and downloaded from the B&W Society of Sound website:

www.bowers-wilkins.com/display.aspx?infid=777

The have quite a few hi-rez 16 and 24-bit FLAC files available for all sorts of music. It's a co-production between B&W and Peter Gabriel.

Awesome, un-compressed music that will blow your mind with the variety available.

Donald Fagen's Morph the Cat. For Steely Dan fans, this is a dose what what was great about them. The sound and recording quality is awesome. More laid back and pessimistic than the old Dan records, this one still has Fagen's patented cryptic lyrics and precise, jazzy production.

On a theme from my last post, it's Donald Fagan, The Nightfly. More of his jazzy, ironic, cryptic, carefully recorded stuff.

Tom Waits' magnum opus - Orphans. It's a 2007 3 cd set that started out as an "outtakes" cd. When he got into the project, Waits decided to re-record some of the songs, then wrote another 30 or so songs. The result is a 54 song monster on 3 themes, Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards, each with its own distinct style. For Waits fans, this is an amazing piece of work by a guy who has been doing this since the early 70's and seems to have lost none of his roar and creativity.

I'm currently hooked with a wonderful album by violinist Lucia Micarelli (introduced for me and other fans by Jethro Tull a couple of years ago), the album is called "Music from a farther room", and you can't stop hearing it!:)
