Uncle Tupelo, "March 16 - 20, 1992", in which the definitive country-punk group quiets down does an excellent acoustic set. Some songs are theirs, some are traditional or old country songs from way back when country still had soul. Songs about coal miners, old gospel songs, moonshine songs, songs about the evils of atomic power written a half century ago all pull together into a really fine outsider song set. It's a compelling performance with clear, clean sound.
