Watch a master at work.

One of my biggest regrets is not going to see Stevie live. I kept thinking, oh I'll see him the next time he's in town. Tragic, tragic loss. :(

Same thing here. Had a chance to see him at Blossom outside Cleveland back in the day. Had to work late and didn't make the show. "I'll catch him next time." :(

Missed seeing Jimmie Vaughan about a month ago. We had tickets, pretty good seats, too. But our neighbor across the street had her house burgled big-time between 8-10 p.m. the night before. Got spooked, didn't want to leave our daughter home alone so we decided to skip it. Glad we did.

I have this on DVD, 2 concerts in one. Such a great shows. I got to see Double Trouble by themselves back in 2006 in a festival and they were great.

I'm not a big DVD collector but after watching this on YouTube, I decided to get a copy. I know how thrifty :) you are and you'll be glad to hear I picked up the 2 disc DVD set used on Amazon for $12, with a vendor with a 100% rating.

Meanwhile here's a fave for anyone throwing a party today.

RIP Charlie Haden passed over the weekend. I bought this CD earlier this year after someone posted it in a thread of great sounding CD's.
Fantastic CD. Just read he won a Grammy for it as well.

Ch Ch Ch Chia Lynne!

Out Of the Blue was the second record (vinyl) I ever bought. Steve Miller's Joker was the first. They both came from yard sales.

I don't know why, but I always forget about Tommy Castro. He's a great musician.

What do you get when nuns don't do their laundry .... Nasty habits.
