A journey down the YouTube rabbit hole. Steve mentioned Soft Cell yesterday, so I looked them up on YouTube for a little 80's action. That led to listening to the original by Gloria Jones (pretty darn good), down the path to Imelda May covering that version live. Further down the rabbit hole was Duffy covering it - then on to Duffy's Mercy. I'll spare you an end with The Cranberries live (older now, but still sounding good).

I picked up two albums by Garbage yesterday; "Garbage" and "Beautiful Garbage" both on CD. I played their first album this morning on teh way to work this morning and I can't believe I misssed this band when they came out. They are/were??? a great band at least based on their first album.

I love his stuff. Death Letter Blues is such an awesome song. Ever notice his guitar playing technique? He slaps the strings instead of plucking then.. very unusual.
