Nope, not at all, but Trump and the Republicans where very "serious" about the danger of the deficit.

Hopefully this time around it will be better than his last four year stint, time will tell, but suffice it to say few if any of us here are holding are breath !

Now that is low bar, I'd say. The new budget along with the tax cuts will yet again increase the deficit by the trillions over the years. Even Krugman has been concerned for some time about the deficit.
