The domestic violence by strangulation conviction (2017) was obviously well prior to January 6. However, the other two convictions for resisting law enforcement with violence were the result of being pulled over in Florida in October of 2022.

On other words, he has criminal convictions for violent acts both before and after January 6.

He's clearly not an innocent victim of over-zealous prosecutors.

The only issue now is, will the Justice department continue those prosecutions or try to wiggle out to please the master puppeteer.

Believe it or not Trumps popularity poll numbers are higher than they ever were during his last Presidential term. I guess America is more than ok with this. Let's give a year or 2.

Well, he did get the majority of the electorates even though it is less than 50%.
Will see if this exuberance has staying power, will it get above 50%?

I'm sure we'll see more cases of pardoned violent J6 insurrectionists committing new crimes. That people receiving a pardon (or commutation) commit new crimes is not something new, of course, but this time it was very many receiving it. And quite a few are violent insurrectionist.

To some extent, this is a Rorschach test: If you believe Trump is a fascist, then you probably think Musk did a “seig heil,” especially given some recent context: Musk has endorsed far right parties in Germany, Italy and the U.K., with Germany’s AfD being accused of deliberately using Nazi rhetoric. And under Musk’s watch, Twitter/X has reportedly seen a dramatic increase in racist and antisemitic groups and comments. So it’s easy to understand why some would believe this was intentional — especially when he’s onstage at a rally for a politician who has plenty of extremist followers. All those Hitler criticisms, if anything, should make a speaker less likely to bust out any Third Reich-looking moves, or so one would hope.

Only one thing dumber than Trump in this world and that is Trump supporter.
