Old stereo ? Help with set up 5.1

Yeah man, I hope for your sake you can pin down that new job. PL1 is, as you know mono, and basically ambiance. Normally, a good upgrade path is to put decent speakers on the entry level AVR, then upgrade the AVR later. But in this case I feel the opposite. While your speakers could certainly stand to be upgraded, I think(and you too?) the AVR is the bottleneck. If you can, I think you should find a decent AVR, and focus on speaker placement and setup. A4L as linked is a great place to get a nice current AVR on a budget.
Can you post a pic of the back of the surrounds? A shelf would be easy, but if they have keyhole slots, that’s even easier.

Found nothing there are flower pots in the window ceil behind were I sit sadly .
I can take pictures, how do I make pictures smaller to fit on here ????

Don’t know, sorry. I use Tapatalk. It’s a forum manager app. It’s not as granular as say the web version, but it’s pretty smooth and streamlined. When I post pics I just hit the pic button, it opens my library, and I choose the one I want. It will then ask me what size(quality) I want and boom done.

On a pc I simply resize a picture before uploading to audioholics. Tapatalk I think does it automatically but I use an android phone, don't know if that makes a difference....

Huh. That’s weird. Are you shooting Live Photo’s? Maybe that makes them too big.

YEs how or why do iPhone photos not work ??? I’ve tried lowering the size and cropped them no luck

Don’t know...mine works just fine. What iphone is it? I wonder if your using “Live Photo’s” and they’re not actually too big, but the server just doesn’t like them?

Uploading directly from the camera app , i doubts there too big actually., odd
On tarantula site I was last on , I can upload instantly no editing . Similar forum

Why do these front speakers seem to do so little ? Does 90% of dialog go to center ??
Is my center too low or just fine ??
I may try lowering center volume level . But no adjustment for front speakers in this dinosaur !!!

Almost all dialogue go to center yes, front left and right are usually more active for effects and music not so much for dialogue.
