Old Speaker Conundrum...

Sorry for the delay on reviewing these guys. I'm having trouble with the R55ti's having distortion in the highs on some tracks. Not really understanding why. Also having what seems like cabinet vibration problems at certain frequencies. They sound great except for the occasional buzzing or crackling. It might be time to call RBH. These distortions only seem to happen in pure tones or piano notes, But sometimes elsewhere in other songs. Any ideas?

I've already switched around everything possible L/R audio, balance, receiver/amplifier, source, digital/cd/pc/bluray player. Journey's starting piano notes in "Faithfully" put out the worst distortion/scratchy sound out of all songs I have this problem with. I've have isolated it to the right speaker tweeter. Occasionally I get some crackles from some driver on the left speaker, but it's too hard to track down. I wonder what could have caused this? I didn't really notice this in the first few days. But i think the problem is getting worse. Or either I'm just now noticing it more now because I am aware of it.
