The Marantz slim-lines are fairly small form factors for an avr. With a sub I'd prefer an avr's bass management feature over most 2ch gear....

Pioneer makes a small form factor receiver. Could be an option.

Looking for suggestions on a good receiver to power a 2 channel system with sub. Two B&W 606s with a sub. This is going in my office on a shelf.

Found this one, perhaps there is one with a smaller footprint but a good amp? https://www.amazon.com/Sony-STRDH190-Stereo-Receiver-Bluetooth/dp/B078WFDR8D/ref=as_li_ss_tl?dchild=1&keywords=stereo+receiver&qid=1601437975&sr=8-3&linkCode=sl1&tag=audioholics-20&linkId=ee79978709765353230aa5c283c8c8f8&language=en_US
The Sony may not offer the handling you want with the 606. Here are a few other ideas:

Paradigm PW amp is on sale from Paradigm for $250. It’s 100 watt with anthem room correction and a sub out. Only complaint online is UI software is clunky but $250 for subwoofer out, room correction and 100 watts is tough to beat.
