ISO is like setting film speed. Try it set to 200 if your using a tripod. If that doesn't work try 400. The higher the speed the grainier the pictures will be, but the more forgiving it will be for low light. Here's a tip: If you have an auto timer on your camera, set the ISO to 200, set up for your shot and depress the shutter release. Because your using the timer your hands will be completely off the camera when the shot is taken. Set your white balance to incandescent and turn off the flash unless you go handheld. Don't use auto, it sucks. set it A (aperture priority) or S (shutter priority) and change the settings until you get what your looking for. Unless your a pro it can take many shots. Go look at my photobucket page, click on a picture of your choice and I think it will tell you what all my settings were for that particular shot. It may not be right according to a pro, but if you get a picture that you like, who cares? Keep in mind I took my pictures with a Nikon D70 SLR with a Sigma Macro lens. So your results may vary. Just send me a PM if you need more help. There are other guys on here that can take way better pictures than me but that's just how I do it and I like the results.
