I don't know, there is about 1/2" on the top and the front and back of my credenza is open. I had it playing at a low volume for about 6 hours yesterday and it was just barely warm. I can flip the shelf bracket and gain about another 1/2" but I thought I would check it out first and see if it gets hot.

Just don't forget to keep an eye on the PS3 too. They can get pretty warm themselves.

PS: I love the look of Rotel equipment. I prefer the all black thought, but damn that's a pretty amp.

That amp sure is a giant compared to my little 1075. Two inches in height really seems to make a lot more visual impact...who says size doesn't matter?

That's why I cleaned up around the base of my amps and removed all the clutter - the optical inch.

Yes, fresh ears last night. I did a mini review in my "Rotel" thread. The keyword is "Effortless".
