Stock up on 'em now for investment purposes. Since they seem to last forever, they'll probably still be good well into the future.

Hell, just stock up on them.
They are reputed to have a shelf life equivalent to MRE's!

The average life expectancy of Americans will probably rise after a couple of years, if they stop production.

I don't know, I think that may be the other way around. Without all those sustaining preservatives, people will die sooner  LOL.

Alex told me that they use the hite stuff inside them for drywalling and spackle.

I heard about that a day or two ago. "No way will we allow you to partially cut our salaries...we'd rather make you have to cut them in full." Awesome.

I never really ate their snacks, though. We always got Little Debbie snacks because they cost less. I remember being jealous of kids that had them when I was younger, but now that I can afford them, I just don't enjoy eating that kind of stuff. I could go for one more oatmeal pie, though. You don't think there's anyway I could get that quarter from underneath your pointy boot do ya? :D

When I was a kid, Hostess was one of the food groups  I tried eating something from them a few years back just for nostalgia (one of those sugar coated apple pies I think?) I almost heaved, it was like a mouth full of sugar. I can't imagine how I could ever have liked that stuff. Kids

At first I thought, "Well at least we still have Dolly Madison" but looks like Hostess owns them too.

I'll bet someone swoops in and buys the company. Watch it be Walmart.

Look out for Twinkies full of Mercury coming from China.

Never been a fan of unions, this was definitely a bad move. 18,000 out of work, not to mention the trucking and supply salaries lost. For the record, I don't eat that junk, I prefer Little Debbie!

It says they intend to sell the brand off, which means it WILL be something like that.

On the flip side, that probably won't make them any less healthy.

:D
The ones people are eating now were made in the 80s, they just got around to selling them now. I'm sure the stockpile will last a little longer.

Expiration date: you won't live that long :D

Being that marijuana was just legalized in two more states, this may be a gold mine for a new owner.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble, but the actual shelf life of a Twinkie is only about 25 days. :D

This will make finding Twinkies, after the Zombie Apocalypse, MUCH more difficult.
