A. Secure all of your garbage and garbage cans, bird feeders, grills, or other attractants so the bear cannot get to them. Loud noises such as sudden bursts from foghorns, gunshots, or yelling helps. Place a Jalapeño or Habañero pepper in a Twinkie and throw it out for the bear. It makes the bear sick and they associate being sick with coming to your location. BTW the union protest at LAX is because the workers voted to kick the union out and the union is demanding to be reinstated.

SEIU. I'm sure adding 90 minutes of drive time to the already horrendous LAX traffic made them lots of friends.

Police were forced to arrest a dozen union members today after an Service Employees International Union protest around Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which shut down traffic completely and added 90 minutes to travellers’ commute time, went awry.

The Service Employees International Union, or SEIU, claims a company that employs 450 sky caps, cabin cleaners and security workers at LAX illegally broke a contract and is in violation of the city’s living wage ordinance.

That company, Aviation Safeguards, claims that’s inaccurate, saying 52 percent of its workers voted to decertify the SEIU. It also says employee pay has increased by more than $2 million since workers kicked the union out to compensate for changes in their health care policies.

BTW Hostess is back to liquidation.

I suspect people like me had a lot more to do with shutting them down than the unions!
My kid is 14 years old, and I never packed a twinkie in her lunch box. She did try one recently, but was the film it left in her mouth was "totally gross"!
This was a viable product 50 years ago, but not today!

They should have diversified into protein bars!
