That Niles seems to have a cascaded triple output stage, which gives very linear current gain, and usually reliability. The Quad 303 introduced in 1967 used that configuration. That is probably the most bullet proof amp design in the history of audio. Here is a recent review and the telling of the tale, of the introduction of the first solid state amp that was as good as tubes. May be this will get some buzz going for you!
