That TCL has actually been tempting me based on the reviews. It is edge lit though and I would rather stay away from edge lit even though it is supposed to be excellent. TCL does have a FALD 55" that seems to be a great performer (per reviews I cold find on it) but they still have not released their 65" or a 75" with FALD. If picture quality holds when they do I may just have to try the new company out, though, from what I understand, they are anything but a new company...
With Costco's return policy I would be tempted to take the TCL home for a few days to test it out. It is supposed to be very bright, and, though there are supposed to be some lighting issues due to the edge lit it is supposed to be much better than most edge lits that have been out there and better than some FALD...
