OCBrad, I can recommend MonoPrice cables because I've used them and they are fine.

kaabob, sorry, I've never run those length of cables.

monoprice UL rating

kaabob,
24 AWG...35ft...product ID # 2742...$39.56...

If you look at this cable on the monoprice.com site you can find a little info on the fire rating. For product ID 2742 click on the "Specifications" where you will find a link at the bottom of the spec's. (here is the link directly)
http://monoprice.com/drawing/HDMI24TC.pdf

You will find under the heading "Physical Properties of Jacket" , 6. Flame test: Passed UL VW - 1.
Elsewhere on the pdf you will find the same UL VW - 1 under the heading "Markings".

I am using a 3 ft. and 6 ft. hdmi from monoprice that shows the VW -1 marking on the cable itself.
What these ratings mean in relation to your concerns, I do not know.

Nope

The monoprice HDMI cables (manufactured by Copartner) with that specification are not rated for in wall installation. The best pricing I've been able to find on in wall rated HDMI cables is through Blue Jeans.

I personally would not trust generic cables to do 1080p over 15'.... let along 35'. It may be cheaper to pay up front now, then have to dig out a cable from your walls that doesn't work when you upgrade to 1080p.

We'll be doing significant HDMI testing in the future and will try to lay out a nice comparison of the cables and what they can truly handle real-world...
